Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Generation and Business Development:
Identify potential customers and market opportunities for API sales.
• Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, including pricing and delivery terms, to secure new business.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
• Identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers at customer.
• Regularly engage with customers through visits, phone calls, and emails to maintain strong relationships.
• Understand customer needs and requirements for APIs, including quality standards, regulatory compliance, and
pricing expectations.
3. Market Intelligence:
• Stay updated on industry trends, including price trends, demand supply dynamics, customer and competition
landscape.
4. Order Management and Fulfillment:
• Process customer orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
.
• Coordinate with internal team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Manage customer complaints and resolve issues if any.
5. Compliance and Regulatory:
• Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to provide/necessary documentation and customer audits
6. Reporting and Analysis:
• Track sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare sales reports and market analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
7. Payment:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes.
• Address and resolve client queries and disputes related to payments.
• Maintain timely records of all payment recovery activities, outstanding and client communications.
• Prepare and present regular reports on payment recovery status, including aged receivables.
