Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and milestones
for real estate construction projects using tools like Primavera P6 or MS
Project.
- Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and ensure alignment
with project deliverables.
- Resource Planning:
- Analyze project resource requirements, including manpower,
materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and construction
teams to ensure resource availability.
- Monitoring and Progress Tracking:
- Track and monitor project progress against the baseline
schedule.
- Identify delays, critical paths, and potential risks, and
propose corrective actions to keep the project on track.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other
stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes effectively to all
stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly progress
reports to management.
- Generate and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related
to project timelines and resource utilization.
- Cost Control:
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure alignment of costs
with the project schedule.
- Monitor cost variance and provide insights for financial
control.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks impacting the project timeline and
propose mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that contingency plans are in place for
schedule-critical activities.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of project plans, schedules, and
revisions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standards during
planning and execution phases.
Skills:
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in project planning within the real
estate or construction industry.
- Proficiency in planning tools like Primavera P6, MS Project,
and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and
resource allocation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational
skills.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary
teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-rise or large-scale real estate projects.
- Familiarity with cost control techniques and project risk
management.
