Responsible for driving sales growth within a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) by leading a team of sales executives, identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and ensuring quality loan origination across assigned regions or product lines, all while adhering to regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management:
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team of loan officers or relationship managers.
Set individual sales targets and monitor performance to ensure achievement of overall business goals.
Provide coaching, feedback, and motivation to sales team members to optimize their productivity.
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
Business Development:
Identify potential new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation strategies.
Develop and execute sales plans to acquire new customers and expand market share within the assigned territory.
Establish and maintain relationships with channel partners, distributors, and key stakeholders to source new business leads.
Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Understand customer needs and present suitable loan products (personal loans, business loans, home loans, etc.)
Conduct customer meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals
Manage the entire loan origination process, including credit evaluation, documentation, and loan disbursal
Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through proactive relationship management
Compliance and Risk Management:
Adhere to all regulatory guidelines related to lending practices, KYC (Know Your Customer), and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations
Monitor loan quality and manage credit risk within the portfolio
Conduct due diligence checks on potential borrowers to mitigate credit risk
