Key responsibilities
1. Financial operations: Manage daily financial transactions, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
2. Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
3. Compliance: Ensure adherence to GST, Service Tax, TDS, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
4. Audit coordination: Lead internal audits, coordinate with external auditors, and manage tax audits and assessments.
5. Accounts management: Handle all aspects of accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and GST invoicing.
Payroll and statutory compliance: Manage payroll processing and ensure timely filing of statutory returns like TDS and PF.
6. Financial planning: Assist with budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
7. Cost tracking: Monitor and track manufacturing costs, ensuring accurate inventory valuation using methods like FIFO or average cost.
8. Process improvement: Implement financial controls and work with other departments to improve accounting processes and financial performance.
9. Team leadership: Train, mentor, and manage the junior accounting staff.

various letters issued by indirect taxation authorities
