Job Overview:
The company is seeking a technology-literate, emotionally intelligent, and commercially savvy Business Development Executive/Manager to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have experience in the media, advertising, or still and Film production sectors. We are looking for someone tenacious, outgoing, confident, and ambitious.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate profitable avenues for the company by securing new projects and meeting assigned targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Approach new clients and open new business opportunities for the company.
  • Understand clients' core campaigns and budgets to offer customized solutions.
  • Communicate creative storyboards and concepts to photographers/ Directors and production stakeholders.

Who You Are:

  • 3-4 years of experience in production sales, client servicing, or media sales, preferably in a creative or advertising agency or production house.
  • Excellent communicator and effective negotiator.
  • Good understanding of various creative mediums, including 3D, compositing, retouching, colors, and light moods.
  • Strong project management and creative skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Adobe Photoshop and other Creative Cloud software is an added advantage.

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably should have a background in the advertising agency circuit.
  • Understanding of the inner workings of advertising agencies and clients.
  • Ability to navigate and secure projects from agencies and Brands directly.
  • Ability to target high-value prospects.
  • Strong communication and business skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business in films (TVC/Digital), animation, and still shoots by pitching the company to advertising agencies, Brands & Corporates.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with clients after securing new projects.
  • Focus on sales efforts by analyzing existing and potential prospect volumes.
  • Negotiate budgets and deadlines, and prepare detailed presentations justifying costs and schedules with the production team.
  • Act as the point of contact between the Client and the company during pitches and production processes.
  • Understand creative process of an ad films, animation, and still photography production processes.
  • Create presentations and pitch decks as needed.
  • Track key clients, their campaigns, and market trends.
  • Engage relevant business prospects with the company's services.
  • Develop and implement new business processes and practices.
  • Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly business targets in collaboration with the team.
  • Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on clients, industry trends, brands, and pricing.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, growth plans, and forecasts.
