Key Responsibilities:
- Sales
Strategy & Execution:
- Develop
and implement a strategic sales plan for the valve product range across
India.
- Identify
new markets and customer segments to expand the company’s reach.
- Customer
& Channel Management:
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs,
consultants, end-users, and distributors.
- Visit
customers on-site to understand requirements and provide tailored
solutions.
- Manage
channel partners, distributors, and sales agents across regions.
- Business
Development:
- Drive
new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients.
- Conduct
product presentations, demos, and technical discussions to support sales
efforts.
- Represent
the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Team
Management:
- Lead
and support regional sales teams across India.
- Provide
training and motivation to achieve and exceed targets.
- Marketing
Activities:
- Collaborate
with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and
brand positioning.
- Provide
market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to shape
future strategies.
- Reporting
& Forecasting:
- Prepare
regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic updates for
senior management.
- Monitor
and achieve sales KPIs, targets, and profitability goals.
Qualification:
28Skills:
- Bachelor's
degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred); MBA in
Marketing/Sales is a plus.
- 8+
years of industrial B2B sales experience, preferably in valves, pumps, or
similar engineered products.
- Strong
technical understanding of industrial valves (Gate, Globe, Ball,
Butterfly, Safety, Control valves, etc.)
