As part of our expansion efforts, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Institutional Back Office Specialist to join our team.
The Institutional Back Office Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our
institutional client services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-office operations, trade
settlement processes, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our institutional clients
Key Responsibilities:
1. Trade Confirmation and Settlement: Confirm trades with institutional clients and counterparties and ensure timely
settlement of trades in accordance with regulatory requirements and market practices.
2. Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of institutional client accounts, cash balances, and positions to identify
and resolve any discrepancies.
3. Client Reporting: Generate and distribute daily, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to institutional clients, providing
them with accurate and timely information on their accounts and transactions.
4. Client Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from institutional clients regarding trade confirmations, settlements, account
balances, and other back-office-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices related
to back-office operations and trade settlement.
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline back-office processes and improve operational
efficiency through automation and optimization.
7. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading desks, compliance, and technology teams,
to address client needs and resolve operational issues.
Qualification:

Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in back-office operations, preferably in a stock broking firm or financial
institution serving institutional clients.
3. Strong understanding of trade settlement processes, corporate actions, and securities regulations.
4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
effectively.
5. Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with back-office systems and trading platforms.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with institutional clients
and internal stakeholders.
