Merchant Banking – Asset Liability Management
The business unit oversees investment management activities, including the raising of new debt and equity capital, the formation of new ventures, the strategic acquisition and disposition of homes and the management and operation of company's portfolio investments. The Merchant Banking business unit collaborates closely with the other business units, including the Development and Operator business units, as part of the fully integrated
company's platform.
Our Liability Management team sits within the Investment Management division and manages financial operations, including liquidity planning, collateral management, treasury operations and asset valuations, for our single-family rental (SFR) platform. The Liability Management team manages capital planning and asset performance following product launch and through the lifecycle of our
investment products. We looking for an Asset Liability Management Analyst who will primarily support the Capital Management teams in tracking, preparing, reviewing, and delivering of various reporting obligations on securitization transactions. This will include tracking eligible collateral and collateral releases, collaborating with internal data team to preparing collateral reporting tapes, and delivering required reporting at regular intervals.
The ALM Analyst will be comfortable with high
visibility reporting standards, networking with multiple internal departments to assemble all required information and communicating with outside counterparties to deliver results. Job Description (Role & Responsibilities):
- Support monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting activities for securitizations, including aggregation and validation of reported financial and performance metrics
- Communicate with internal and external (servicer) stakeholders to satisfy reporting requirements and respond to ad-hoc data requests
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting around historical performance
- Deliver to the US ALM team key projects and initiatives
- Work with DCM, Legal, Business Intelligence, Private Equity and Valuations (broker pricing opinions) functions as required
