Key
Responsibilities:
- Financial Record
Maintenance:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and
journals, ensuring integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Closings: Perform monthly, quarterly,
and annual financial closings with precision and timeliness.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements,
credit card transactions, and other financial documents to ensure
accuracy.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and
generate comprehensive reports to support strategic decision-making
processes.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable
and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of
transactions.
- Budget & Forecasting: Assist with budget
preparation and financial forecasting to guide organizational planning.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with
internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements,
including service tax, income tax, TDS, VAT, PT, PF, and ESI.
- Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external
auditors and assist in the audit process to ensure a smooth and efficient
review.
- Procedure Updates: Maintain and update
financial procedures and policies to reflect best practices and regulatory
changes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement
process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial
operations.
Skills:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification
preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 6-7 years of
experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting
software (SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP
(Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with the
ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication
skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with financial
management in a transport or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of tax regulations
and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with SAP systems
and financial reporting tools.
- Willing to travel every 15
days’ various company locations.
- Ability to identify and
implement process improvements.
