he Bid Manager will be responsible for identifying suitable tenders, developing comprehensive bid proposals, and managing the entire bid process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills to ensure that bids are aligned with the company’s business goals and increase the likelihood of winning contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Identification and Research:
Monitor and identify relevant tender opportunities in sectors like infrastructure, AI, and other consultancy services.
Liaise with relevant stakeholders (clients, partners) to understand requirements and align with tender criteria.
Bid Strategy Development:
Develop a comprehensive bid strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives, target markets, and project capacities.
Analyze client needs and industry trends to create a competitive bid.
Bid Preparation and Submission:
Prepare and manage all aspects of the bid documentation, including technical, commercial, and financial proposals.
Coordinate with internal teams (technical, legal, finance) to gather the necessary data for proposal development.
Develop project plans, schedules, and cost estimations for complex projects like infrastructure development and AI implementations.
Review and ensure compliance with tender requirements and client expectations.
Submit the final bid before the deadline, ensuring adherence to all guidelines.
Proposal Review and Improvement:
Critically review and analyze previous bid performance and client feedback to continuously improve the bid approach and content.
Suggest and implement improvements in the bid process to enhance win rates and efficiency.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Identify potential risks in the tender and bid process, and work with teams to mitigate those risks.
Ensure that all bids are compliant with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Communication and Relationship Management:
Develop strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders involved in the bidding process.
Manage communication channels between all departments involved in the bid to ensure smooth coordination.
Post-Bid Follow-Up:
Monitor the outcome of the bids and handle any clarifications or requests for additional information.
