Project Sales Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a self-driven Project Sales Engineer for our growing Project Division. In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our sales of passive fire products to a diverse clientele. You will leverage your product knowledge and technical expertise to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and drive profitable sales growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and other potential customers in the assigned territory.
• Identify and qualify new sales leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
• Provide technical expertise to customers, recommending the most suitable door ancillary products based on their specific needs and project requirements.
• Prepare and deliver clear and compelling sales presentations, highlighting product features, benefits, and return on investment (ROI).
• Negotiate competitive pricing and contracts with customers, ensuring profitable sales growth.
• Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any issues effectively.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new product developments, and competitor offerings.
• Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, tracking progress towards targets and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in project sales, within the building materials, construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong understanding of passive fire and ancillary products, including their functionality and applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and develop trust with clients.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (may be required).
