Job Description :

  1. Work closely with target market developers in the respective city for identifying their funding requirements in line with Risk principles of BHFL.

  2. Negotiating deals with above mentioned developers, coordinating with various stakeholders in BHFL for approving said deals and taking them to successful conclusions.

  3. Monitoring the performance of above mentioned developers, identifying potential challenges that may arise in the future and charting a successful exit path for such accounts.

  4. Maintaining relationships with developers on an on-going basis for their future requirements as well as ensuring Home Loan cross-sell opportunities to the B2B team.

Business development (Sourcing and acquisition; Deal structuring)

  1. Scout, plan and ensure adequate sourcing and acquisition of business through various means such as channel partners, direct targeting of developers, joint participation / syndication with other financers, down-selling, etc.
  2. Engage with targeted developers and conduct meetings with potential developers for business acquisition and deal structuring
  3. Interact with channel partners in the market, industry peers, etc. to identify fresh business opportunities and guide team to pursue these deals
  4. facilitate the documentation and disbursement process; Work with credit team for underwriting, note preparation and closure
  5. Review basic checks such as CIBIL, past loans, issuance of in-principal term sheet, term sheet preparation; Lead first round of negotiations and agreement/ collection of commitment and processing fee.
  6. Further resolve technical/ legal queries and provide necessary support to the credit team for preparation of Credit Approval Memo (CAM)


 

Project/ Customer monitoring

  1. Post disbursement, monitor the borrower account, periodically interact with developers to understand on ground actions, sales, new project initiation, project progress, etc.; Periodically, visit the project sites to check the developments and project progress
  2. Gather a viewpoint on borrower’s accounts and update the risk team; For accounts with concern, discuss with credit to hold further disbursements, control escrow movements and determine further course of action

 

Collection Management; Delinquency management

  1. For overdue accounts, assess the situation and nature of problems, and ideate with other teams such as collections and legal to regularize collections
  2. Explore alternatives such as involvement of a new developer/ investor/ other lenders in the project, contact landowners / financers, extension of moratorium, etc.; Support the developer through sales leads and sales generation for the projects

Ensuring BHFL Home Loan penetration across DF relationships

  1. To increase the BHFL home loan penetration across all the funded projects and taking it up to avg 25% by streamlining the timely lead flow to B2B team via respective CRM teams. Aligning the B2B team for giving the feedback to CRM teams on conversions, followups and non-doable cases.
  2. To play a critical role in minimizing the gaps between B2B team and developer sales team.
  3. To provide the opportunity to B2B team to penetrate across other non-funded projects of the developer in order to strengthen the BHFL franchise relationship with the developer.
