Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execution of Finishing Works:
• Oversee and execute finishing activities such as plastering, painting, flooring (tiles, marble, wooden flooring), false ceilings, carpentry, and other aesthetic aspects of construction.
• Ensure all finishing works are completed as per design specifications and quality standards.
2. Site Supervision:
• Monitor day-to-day site activities related to finishing works and provide technical guidance to contractors and workers.
• Ensure finishing works progress in alignment with the project schedule and budget.
3. Quality Control:
• Conduct regular quality checks for finishing materials and workmanship.
• Ensure proper application and installation methods to maintain the highest standards.
4. Coordination and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure finishing works meet design intent.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve any issues promptly.
5. Material Management:
• Plan and manage the procurement of finishing materials like paints, tiles, adhesives, and fixtures.
• Inspect and verify the quality of materials delivered to the site.
6. Snagging and Rectification:
• Identify and address snags or defects in finishing works and ensure timely rectification.
• Prepare snag lists during handover and ensure all finishing tasks are completed to satisfaction.
7. Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure finishing works comply with safety guidelines and local regulations.
• Conduct safety briefings for workers and contractors when necessary.
8. Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain records of finishing work progress, material consumption, and quality checks.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to project management.

Skills:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in finishing works for real estate construction projects, including residential and commercial properties.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with high-end finishing for luxury real estate projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and software.
