The Tax Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day direct & indirect tax transactions, maintaining
accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The role
requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a sound understanding of accounting principles.
a. DIRECT TAX
1 Provide monthly fund requirements for TDS.
2 Calculate and ensure timely payments of TDS under various sections on a monthly basis.
3 File TDS returns on a quarterly basis before the due date.
4 Reconcile TDS returns with financial records post-filing.
5 Revise TDS returns when required.
6 Maintain the company’s tax database on a monthly basis.
7 Provide audit support related to TDS matters.
8 Manage tax-related accounting in the ERP system.
9 Prepare data for Tax Audit, including Clause 34. 10 Regular reconciliation of 26AS with company records.
b. INDIRECT TAX
1 Provide monthly fund requirements for GST.
2 Prepare workings for filing GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
3 Perform monthly revenue reconciliation.
4 Conduct monthly input reconciliation with GSTR-2B.
5 Reconcile RCM and ECL post-filing of GST returns.
6 Post various GST-related entries in the ERP system.
7 Prepare data for GST Annual Returns (Forms 9 & 9C)
OTHER COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide statutory data for timely payments of various statutory dues.
2. Reconcile PT, PF, ESI payments with liabilities on a monthly basis.
3. Address any other tax and compliance-related matters of the company.
