Job Description :

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Finance to oversee our day-to-day financial operations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and provide critical financial insights to support our company's growth in the green energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial processes and delivering accurate financial reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our operations.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and supervise daily finance accounting operations: Ensure smooth and efficient management of all financial transactions, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  2. Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes: Monitor and manage all AP and AR activities, ensuring timely payments and collections, and maintaining accurate records.
  3. Prepare and analyze cash flow statements: Generate and analyze cash flow statements to provide insights into the company's financial health and liquidity.
  4. Monitor project budgets, compare with actuals, and provide variance analysis: Track project budgets, compare actual expenditures with budgeted amounts, and provide detailed variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements: Support the finance team in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  6. Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting: Contribute to the financial planning process by preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and tax laws: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws, ensuring the company's compliance and minimizing financial risks.
  8. Supervise and mentor junior finance team members: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development and ensuring a high level of team performance.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field: A strong academic foundation in finance or accounting is essential.
  2. CA Inter or equivalent preferred: Candidates with CA Inter or equivalent qualifications will be given preference.
  3. 7-10 years' of experience in finance and accounting: Proven experience in managing financial operations, with a preference for candidates with experience in the energy sector.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws: In-depth understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations.
  5. Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel: Strong technical skills in financial software and MS Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  6. Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP: Familiarity with ERP systems, with preference for experience with SAP.
  7. Familiarity with GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations: Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations to ensure compliance.
