Job Description:

The IT Business Analyst cum PMO (Project Management Office) role is a dual-function position. This role involves analyzing business processes and IT solutions to support and enhance the company's technological capabilities, while also overseeing and managing project portfolios, ensuring projects align with strategic goals, and maintaining PMO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Analysis:
   - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
   - Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
   - Identify opportunities for business process improvements and implement IT solutions.
   - Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
   - Develop detailed business cases, including cost-benefit analysis.
   - Work with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met.
   - Utilize SQL for data analysis and report generation to support business decisions.

2. Project Management Office (PMO):
   - Establish and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools.
   - Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
   - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
   - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
   - Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations.
   - Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

3. Stakeholder Management:
   - Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
   - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure their requirements are met.
   - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.

4. Documentation and Training:
   - Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, design, and user manuals.
   - Conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and processes.

5. Compliance and Governance:
   - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
   - Implement best practices for data security and privacy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), or equivalent are preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business analysis and project management within the financial services industry, preferably in an NBFC.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services offered by NBFCs.
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and proficiency in SQL is an added advantage.
