Job Responsibilities:
As an Associate in Indirect Taxation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant GST (Goods and Services Tax) operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1.GST Returns Management:
Prepare, review, and file GST returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax regulations.
2.Monitor and implement changes in GST laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
GST Refund Management:
Manage GST refunds, ensuring timely submissions and tracking.
Verify eligibility for refunds and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the process.
3.Annual GST Returns:
Handle annual GST returns with utmost precision, meeting all deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate reporting and filing of annual returns.
4.GST Reconciliations:
Conduct thorough GST reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and providing solutions.
Collaborate with the finance team to rectify discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
5.Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to ensure effective and efficient tax operations.
Foster effective communication with stakeholders and provide expert guidance.
6.Regulatory Updates:
Stay updated with the latest GST regulations and provide insights for the organization's benefit.
Interpret and communicate the impact of regulatory changes on the business.
7.GST Departmental Audits
Assist with GST audits, liaising with tax authorities as required.
Prepare and provide necessary documentation and support during audits.
