Pre-Requisites:

· Proficiency with CAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office.

· Must have: knowledge of basic metallurgy and relevant standards, knowledge of ISO standards.

· Good to have: Knowledge of GA drawings, P&ID, DFMEA, knowledge of pipe fittings and their standards.

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

·     To create detailed design drawings (i.e., GAD, CS, DIM, PI&D) and ensure required documentation as per customer requirement.
·     To ensure the design of the products is in line with customer requirements and are efficient for manufacturing.
·     To create casting and machining drawings of parts in 3D and 2D format.
·     To coordinate with production team to trouble shoot and modify drawings w.r.to problems faced in manufacturing as per designs made earlier and standardize on the new drawings (in co-ordination with Design Manager) ensuring efficient production in future.
·     To create BOM’s, Item codes in ERP on time.
·     Maintain existing engineering records and designs.
·     To fill in the MIS report regularly and submit to Manager
·     To provide technical assistance to other departments as needed.
·     Perform various other duties as required by the Manager within the physical constraints of job.
·     To adhere to company processes, policies, and rules/ code of conduct

· To create individual development plan and ensure completion of the same for self.
