Key Responsibilities
• Pre-Production Checks: Review and approve sample development, size sets,
and pre-production samples to ensure they meet buyer specifications and quality
benchmarks.
• Inline Quality Inspections: Conduct inline inspections at various stages of
production to identify and resolve defects early, minimizing rework and waste.
• Final Quality Audits: Perform thorough final inspections before shipment to
ensure that garments comply with AQL standards and buyer requirements.
• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (like ISO,
SA8000, or buyer-specific compliance audits) throughout the production lifecycle.
• Supplier & Factory Evaluation: Audit and evaluate new and existing
vendors/factories on quality parameters and production capabilities, providing
feedback for improvement.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality failures or complaints, perform root
cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Process Standardization: Help develop and implement SOPs (Standard
Operating Procedures) for quality control across manufacturing units to maintain
consistency.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends
and generate weekly/monthly reports for internal teams and management.
• Team Supervision: Lead and mentor junior QA inspectors, line quality checkers,
and production floor staff on inspection techniques and quality standards.
