A Manager of Human Resources and Administration is responsible for the effective management of an organization's human capital and administrative
operations. This role combines HR functions, such as talent management and compliance, with administrative duties, such as facility management and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources:
1. Talent Acquisition: Oversee the recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding.
2. Employee Relations: Handle employee inquiries, disputes, and conflicts. Promote a positive workplace culture and address employee concerns.
3. Performance Management: Develop and implement performance evaluation systems, conduct appraisals, and provide coaching and feedback to employees. Manage performance improvement plans when needed.
4. Training and Development: Identify training needs, create training programs such as knowledge sharing management etc and coordinate employee
development initiatives to enhance skills and competencies.
5. Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant with labour laws. Monitor market trends to adjust compensation packages as needed.
6. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and adherence to best practices. Stay updated with labour laws and regulations. Monitor and manage leave and attendance management policy.
7. Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Conduct surveys, feedback sessions, and recognition programs. Planning and executing team building activities, recreation activity, off-site events, team lunch/dinner etc.
8. Social Media Management: Prepare creative fliers for social media such as- LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Improve and manage LinkedIn profile of the
company.
9. Team building exercises: Ensure arranging frequent team building activities, games, staff meetings on periodic basis.
Administration:
1. Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and management of office facilities, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
2. Procurement: Manage procurement processes for office supplies, equipment, and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with procurement policies.
3. Administrative Policies: Develop and enforce administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and maximize efficiency.
4. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
5. Health and Safety: Promote a safe and healthy work environment. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
6. Travel and Logistics: Coordinate business travel arrangements and manage logistics for meetings, events, off-site etc.
7. Corporate Gifting planning: Planning on corporate gifting, diaries distribution management etc.
