To manage and supervise day-to-day accounting activities, project-wise accounting, financial reporting, vendor/customer reconciliations, statutory compliance, cash-flow monitoring, and audit requirements while ensuring accuracy and timely closure of accounts.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs
Area Key Responsibilities
General Accounting Supervise accounting entries, journal vouchers, provisions, accruals, expenses, receipts and payments
Project Accounting Maintain project-wise cost records, construction expenses, development costs, land-related costs and project budgets
Vendor Accounting Review vendor/contractor invoices, ledger reconciliation, ageing and payment schedules
Customer Accounting Monitor customer ledgers, receipts, outstanding, adjustments and reconciliation with sales/CRM records
Bank & Cash Review bank reconciliation, cash transactions and unidentified/mismatched entries
GST GST reconciliation, ITC verification, invoice compliance and coordination for GST returns
TDS TDS calculation, deduction, reconciliation, payment and return-related support
MIS Prepare project-wise P&L, expense MIS, ageing, cash-flow and management reports
Budget Control Compare project budget vs. actual expenditure and highlight major variances
Month-End Closing Provisions, accruals, depreciation, reconciliations and monthly books closure
Audit Coordinate statutory/internal audits and provide schedules, ledgers and supporting documents
Compliance Ensure accounting records and statutory documentation are maintained properly
Team Management Supervise Accounts Executives/Assistants and review their work for accuracy and timelines
