1 yr in financial services, banking, credit rating industry in credit or monitoring role or 2 years in any other industry. Exceptionally can be looked at from MF’s/ Liabilities/ Mid cap corporate or other verticals of SME industry or similar field.

 Any specific specialization/education: Minimum qualification graduate, preferably with additional MBA Finance, inter CA or CA or equivalent as desirable qualifications with credit / sales background in bank/finance industry having some experience of monitoring of loans and portfolios and a flair to understand risk

Job Description :

Purpose of the Job:

To support business and functional goals by ensuring that all credit policies, practices & guidelines are adhered to as per approved policy, especially in terms of post disbursement monitoring of Developer Finance loans. The Credit Monitoring Manager has complete responsibility for meeting assigned targets and performance goals in line with agreed objectives with his/ her manager.

KPI

Business and Financial Management

  • The role begins immediately after first tranche disbursement by laying down our expectations to customers on adherence to timelines in submission of data and compliance of all our requirements on an ongoing basis, with accuracy of data
  • Co-ordinate closely with the relevant persons to ensure that all pending documents / information required in the lifecycle post disbursement and upto closure on loan are done in timely manner
  • Post disbursement compliances include (but are not limited to) our signboard on site, opening and operationalization of escrow a/c alongwith Standing Instructions, collection of monthly MIS from the customer and reconciliation with past data, collecting  all information reqd. for NOC issuances and putting up for approval clearly mentioning the pending  items if any, monitoring of transactions in the escrow a/c, monitoring adherence to laid down construction, sales and collection milestone for each case as stipulated in the sanction conditions and highlighting non-adherence thereto, publishing  MIS and dashboards to the team and senior management as reqd, following up for and obtaining CA certificates, architect’s certificates, site visit reports, valuation reports and other documents and information related to end use and compliance, regulatory and statutory reporting to RBI, CERSAI, CRILC, offline interest calculations etc.     
  • All system entries should be accurate
  • Process discipline demonstrated by satisfactory audit reviews
  • Timely Renewal of vendors, if any
  • Timely monthly MIS and dashboards for review
  • Overall Branch Profitability
  • Co-ordination with all internal and external stakeholders such as Business, Credit, Customer, Banks, Vendors etc.

Customer Focus

  • To ensure timely delivery of NOCs for individual units to the Developers, at the same time ensuring that all pending items are cleared
  • To support customer requirements by promptly addressing their queries

People / Team

  • Ensure timely support for credit and collections efforts by providing necessary background information and documents

Process / Quality Improvement

  • Suggest ways to improve the process, especially by simplification of sub-activities which do not result in any material incremental risks.

SELF DELIVERABLES

  • Work closely with Credit Manager and Relationship Manager to meet the monitoring requirements in line with guidelines laid down in the approved credit program and process documents.
  • Ensure that the monitoring file for each loan is complete at all times in terms of all requirements such as MIS, site visit reports, CA certificates, architect’s certificates, signboard at site, display of our name in agreement to sale & marketing material, customer correspondences etc.
  • Co-ordinate with all concerned to ensure that escrow accounts are opened and  operationalized on timely basis, with Standing Instructions  put in place.
  • Do manual interest calculations wherever reqd and communicate to the Relationship Manager for collection from the customers. Highlight and escalate cases of non-payment of installments by any customer.  
  •  For each NOC request for units received from Developers, check all pending items, receipt of our share of funds, adherence to Minimum Sales Price norm stipulated and highlight all pendencies to the approval authority for taking an informed decision on issuance of NOC
  • Publish MIS and dashboards and highlight the pending / overdue items for bringing in a higher focus of the team for closure.
  • Handling all audits including internal.
