Job Description:

Key Responsibilities-:

A. Costing

Prepare and maintain product costing for MDF boards and related products (resins, chemicals, etc.).
Analyze production costs, overheads, wastage, and consumption trends to identify cost optimization opportunities.
Monitor standard cost vs. actual cost variances and prepare variance analysis reports.
Work closely with Production, Stores, and Procurement teams to ensure correct cost allocation and consumption tracking.
Conduct periodic cost audits and stock valuations (RM, WIP, FG).
Support annual budget preparation, rolling forecasts, and plant profitability analysis.

Taxation & Compliance

Handle plant-level GST, TDS, and other indirect taxation matters in coordination with corporate tax teams.
Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns, input reconciliations, and compliance with statutory regulations.
Assist in audits (internal, statutory, GST) and ensure smooth coordination with auditors and authorities.
Maintain proper documentation and records for tax-related assessments.
Keep updated with changes in tax laws and ensure compliance in plant operations.
Coordination & Support

Coordinate with corporate finance, stores, and procurement for cost validation and reporting.
Support commercial head in vendor payment verification, cost-benefit analysis, and contract reviews.
Provide financial inputs for decision-making regarding new product costing, CAPEX proposals, and OPEX control.
 


Skills:

Mis (Management Information System)

Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.
Analyze sales, production, inventory, and cost data to highlight performance trends and deviations.
Develop dashboards and data models for management decision-making.
Assist in automation and digitalization of MIS processes to improve reporting accuracy and timeliness.
Support management in strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Skills & Competencies -:

Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in SAP / ERP systems and MS Excel (advanced).
Knowledge of cost accounting principles and tax laws.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and material flow.
Detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
