Job Description:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
• Formulate and implement the overall financial strategy for the group aligned with business goals across all verticals (Luxury Furniture (ElevateX & Bay window), Production Plant, Hospitality).
• Provide strategic insights to the management on profitability improvement, cost control, and investment planning.
• Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), forecasting, and long-term growth modelling for all business units.
• Support management in new business feasibility studies, capex evaluations, and expansion projects (e.g., new factory, new store, or hospitality property).

2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Control:
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and rolling projections for each business vertical.
• Track budget vs. actual performance and highlight deviations with root cause analysis.
• Implement strong budgetary controls to ensure optimal resource allocation and expenditure discipline.
• Regularly review departmental and project-level costs (retail, production, hospitality operations).

3. Accounting & Financial Operations:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across all group entities ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and consolidation of group accounts.
• Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Streamline inter-company transactions, reconciliation, and cost allocations between furniture, production, and hospitality divisions.

4. Cash Flow, Treasury & Working Capital Management:
• Manage cash flows and liquidity to ensure smooth operations across all group companies.
• Monitor and optimize working capital — receivables, payables, and inventory levels.
• Ensure proper fund utilization, monitor bank limits, and negotiate credit facilities, LC/BG, and loan management.
• Plan and maintain a robust fund flow forecast for operational and project requirements.

5. Costing, Pricing & Profitability:
• Lead cost control and analysis for both production and hospitality verticals.
• Implement product costing systems in the manufacturing (production) setup for accurate pricing and margin tracking.
• Conduct profitability analysis by product, project, and business vertical to guide pricing and strategy decisions.
• Support management in pricing policies, especially for high-value luxury furniture and modular projects.

6. Statutory Compliance, Audit & Governance:
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements — GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filings, etc.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors for statutory and tax audits.
• Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies, SOPs, and regulatory norms.
• Monitor risk management frameworks and ensure financial governance across group entities.

7. Taxation & Regulatory Affairs
• Oversee direct and indirect taxation for all businesses (GST, TDS, corporate tax, service tax, etc.).
• Ensure timely filing of returns, tax payments, and compliance documentation.
• Handle tax planning and optimization, including input credit management for production and hospitality units.
• Liaise with tax authorities and consultants for assessments, appeals, and notices.

8. MIS, Reporting & Business Insights
• Develop comprehensive MIS dashboards to monitor group performance and KPIs.
• Present monthly and quarterly financial reviews to management with actionable insights.
• Provide segment-wise data — Retail, Modular, Factory, and Hospitality — for strategic decision-making.
• Establish systems for store-level and project-level profitability tracking

9. Systems, Process & Automation:
• Implement and upgrade ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, etc.) to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Drive digitization of accounting processes, vendor management, and reporting systems.
• Standardize SOPs across all group companies for procurement, payments, and expense approvals.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and audit trails across systems.

10. Leadership & Team Development:
• Lead and mentor the finance & accounts teams across all business units.
• Build competency frameworks and ensure continuous training in financial best practices.
• Drive a performance-oriented culture with accountability and ownership.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, design, and HR teams.

11. Investor, Banker & Stakeholder Management:
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, and auditors.
• Support management in fundraising, project finance, or restructuring when needed.
• Prepare presentations and reports for board reviews, management meetings, or investor updates.
