- Experience in branch management, sales management, business development, and team leadership is preferred.
- Candidates with strong B2B industrial sales experience may also be considered.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, managing the branch team, developing new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring efficient execution of material handling equipment and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Business Management
- Take overall responsibility for the branch's sales, service, operations, and profitability.
- Develop and implement branch-level business plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Monitor branch performance against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to increase market share.
- Prepare and present regular business and performance reports to management.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Drive sales of material handling equipment, products, spare parts, and related solutions.
- Develop new customers across industrial, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, automotive, infrastructure, and other relevant sectors.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities for repeat business and upselling.
- Lead the sales team in customer visits, enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
- Monitor the sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on enquiries and proposals.
- Study competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Handle important customer meetings, negotiations, complaints, and escalations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate with customers for equipment requirements, service support, deliveries, and commercial matters.
4. Service & Operations
- Oversee branch service operations and ensure timely response to customer service requirements.
- Coordinate with service engineers and technicians for installation, preventive maintenance, breakdown service, and equipment commissioning.
- Ensure proper availability and management of spare parts and service resources.
- Monitor service contracts, AMC/CMC business, warranty issues, and service revenue.
- Ensure that all branch activities are carried out efficiently and according to company policies.
5. Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and develop the branch sales, service, and support teams.
- Set individual and team targets and review performance regularly.
- Conduct periodic team meetings and provide guidance on business development and customer management.
- Identify training requirements and support employee development.
- Maintain discipline, accountability, and a performance-oriented work culture.
6. Commercial & Financial Management
- Monitor branch revenue, expenses, receivables, and profitability.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
- Review quotations and commercial proposals within the company's approval guidelines.
- Control branch operating expenses and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
- Coordinate with finance and management teams regarding credit limits, collections, and customer accounts.
7. Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of sales, service, enquiries, orders, collections, and branch activities.
- Submit periodic MIS and performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for customers, suppliers, equipment, and service activities.
