We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Assistant to support day-to-day store operations, including receiving, issuing, storing, and tracking forklifts, spare parts, consumables, tools, and other materials.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the right material is available at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming forklift spare parts, consumables, tools, batteries, and other materials.
- Check quantity, part numbers, condition, and supporting documents against purchase orders/invoices.
- Properly identify, label, and store materials in designated locations.
- Issue spare parts and materials to the service team, technicians, and other departments against approved requests.
- Maintain accurate records of all material receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and highlight items requiring replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile differences.
- Maintain proper records of fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of forklift components, electrical parts, hydraulic parts, batteries, lubricants, and consumables.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Service, Accounts, and Operations teams regarding material requirements.
- Prepare material issue notes, goods receipt records, stock reports, and other store documentation.
- Track warranty/returned parts and maintain proper records.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials according to safety requirements.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and provide inventory reports to management.
