ABOUT THE ROLE
The Relationship Manager – Collection & Recovery is a frontline role responsible for managing the complete customer lifecycle from onboarding through EMI collection to delinquency management. The incumbent will work closely with borrowers, field teams, and internal credit operations to ensure healthy portfolio quality and minimum NPA levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate smooth onboarding of new borrowers, including documentation verification and KYC completion.
• Conduct in-person meetings to educate customers on repayment schedules and loan terms.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with borrowers to encourage timely EMI payments.
• Monitor the assigned loan portfolio and ensure timely collection of EMIs as per schedule.
• Follow up with customers through calls and field visits for due and overdue payments.
• Handle delinquent customer accounts and initiate structured follow-ups for overdue payments.
• Take decisive action to reduce NPA (Non-Performing Assets) and maintain portfolio health.
• Conduct regular field visits for high-risk, delinquent, or hard-to-contact borrowers.
• Ensure professional, respectful, and compliant conduct during all customer interactions
