Job Preference:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Mandatory); MBA is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience in valve manufacturing or related engineering industry.
  • Deep technical knowledge of valve types (Gate, Globe, Ball, Butterfly, Check, Control, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, IBR, DIN, etc.)

Job Description:

1. For Sales & Marketing Focus:

• Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue growth across sectors (Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Chemicals, etc.).
• Manage key accounts, nurture client relationships, and support the sales team in closing high-value deals.
• Lead and mentor regional sales managers and field teams.
• Identify new markets, customer needs, and strategic partnerships.
• Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.

2. For Operations/Production Focus:

• Oversee manufacturing operations including production planning, quality control, procurement, and supply chain.
• Ensure timely delivery and adherence to product specifications and quality standards (e.g., API, IBR, ISO, etc.).
• Optimize plant productivity, reduce downtime, and improve process efficiency.
• Coordinate with R&D and engineering for product improvements and new developments.
• Implement best practices in lean manufacturing and cost control.

3. General Responsibilities (Applicable to All):

• Assist the General Manager/Director in strategic planning and policy formulation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Finance.
• Monitor department KPIs, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory norms.
• Represent the company in external meetings, audits, or customer interactions when required.
