Job Description:

• Monitor YouTube, Meta, streaming and other digital platforms for user-generated content that may infringe upon our intellectual property rights
• Evaluate copyright claims and determine their validity based on content usage
• Work with our legal team to establish accuracy of infringement
• Communicate with content creators and rights holders to resolve copyright disputes and address infringement issues.
• Educate content creators on copyright usage and best practices for creating and sharing content on YouTube.
• Reach out to UGC creators to liaise  and publish content through Sony Music channel
• Implement procedures and tools to streamline the process of identifying and managing copyright claims on user-generated content.

Stay updated on changes to copyright laws, YouTube's policies, and industry best practices related to user-generated content.

Qualification:

Skills:

• Understanding of copyright laws, fair use principles, and platform policies related to user-generated content on YouTube.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to effectively liaise with content creators, rights holders, and legal teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, able to evaluate copyright claims and assess their impact on our content.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Passion for digital media and a commitment to protecting content creators' rights.
