• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Communications/ Events Agency working with 1 company on continuous salary
• Previous experience of volunteering in Events or a similar area of work
• Experienced in assisting with the planning and organisation of events
• Ability to think proactively and be calm in sometimes hectic situations
• Creativity and ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines
• A pro-active and can-do attitude, even when working under pressure
• Degree in hospitality management, public relations or relevant field is preferred

Job Description:
• Supporting the events manager with logistical and administrative support
• Maintaining records of all bookings
• Planning event with attention to financial and time constraints
• Promoting events across all social media platforms
• Ensuring all branded items for events arrive on time
• Assist in Event Logistics
• Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
• Maintain Communication With Event Vendors Through Lifecycle of Each Event
• Interact and coordinate with other events managing staff in conducing special event programs
• Support the Marketing team with social media on the day
• Maintain and manage event databases, timelines and files
