Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in core accounting and taxation, preferably in a CA firm
• Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
• Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and MCA compliance
• Good understanding of finalization of accounts and audit preparation

Overview:

We are a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm looking for a Senior Accountant with strong experience in end-to-end accounting and tax compliance for the firm as well as for select clients. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling accounting up to finalization, supervising juniors, and ensuring accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Advance Tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage end-to-end accounting functions for the firm and assigned clients, including entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition in line with internal SOPs and service contracts.
• Prepare annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Accounts.
• Independently handle GST returns, including monthly/quarterly filings, reconciliations, and resolution of notices.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and returns, including Form 26Q, 24Q, and Form 27A.
• File Income Tax Returns for the firm; handle Advance Tax computations and payments.
• Stay updated with latest amendments in tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance procedures.
• Guide and review work of junior accountants and ensure adherence to timelines and accuracy.
