Job Description:

A boutique Investment Banking and Valuation Advisory firm based in Mumbai and Surat is looking to onboard a highly driven Senior Valuation Analyst to support its growing advisory and transaction practice. This role offers direct exposure to complex valuation engagements, M&A transactions, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and support the team in end-to-end valuation assignments for transactions, financial reporting, and strategic purposes
  • Develop financial models, perform valuation analysis, and conduct scenario/sensitivity testing
  • Support M&A, private equity, and fundraising mandates through research and analytical insights
  • Prepare valuation reports, investment memoranda, presentations, and client deliverables
  • Conduct industry research, benchmarking, due diligence, and transaction support 

Skills:

Experience: 2–5 years (Minimum 2 years of mandatory experience in the relevant domain)

International Valuation Analyst (1–2 Years Experience)

  • Conduct business, financial, and intangible asset valuations for international clients.
  • Perform financial modeling, market research, and comparable company analysis.
  • Prepare valuation reports in compliance with global standards (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP, IVS).
  • Analyze financial statements and industry trends.
  • Support M&A, tax, audit, and financial reporting engagements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to meet project deadlines.

Skills: Financial modeling, Excel, valuation methodologies (DCF, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions), analytical thinking, communication, and attention to detail.
