We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our team.As a petrol pump accountant, your primary responsibility will be to manage and maintain all financial records and transactions efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Daily entry of all financial transactions into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers for purchases, sales, expenses, and revenue.
• Monitor and track credit extended to customers, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments promptly.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records regularly.
• Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Handle any other ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned by management.

Skills:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in the petrol pump or retail industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not required.
