1. Assist in conducting financial audits, forensic audits, including fraud investigations, financial misconduct inquiries, and asset tracing exercises, under the supervision of senior auditors.
2. Participate in assurance engagements, including statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance reviews, to assess the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
3. Perform financial analysis, data analytics, and document review procedures to identify irregularities, discrepancies, and potential instances of fraud or misconduct.
4. Assist in the development and execution of audit testing procedures, sampling methodologies, and risk assessment frameworks to address specific engagement objectives.
5. Prepare detailed workpapers, audit reports, and presentations summarizing audit findings, observations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal advisors, forensic experts, and industry specialists, to gather relevant information and support investigative efforts.
7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices related to forensic audits, assurance services, and due diligence activities.
8. Support the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in service delivery.
9. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and professional codes of conduct in all audit-related activities.
