Job Description:

We are a growing Chartered Accountant firm providing a wide range of professional services including Accounting, Direct Tax, Indirect Tax (GST), Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Concurrent Audit, Internal Audit, Due Diligence, Business Valuation, and Advisory Services. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is keen to build a long-term career in professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Independently manage accounting and bookkeeping assignments for clients across various industries.
  • Finalization of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
  • Review ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.
  • Preparation of MIS reports, cash flow statements, and management reports.
  • Liaise with client finance teams for accounting and reporting requirements.

 

Direct Taxation

  • Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, LLPs, companies, trusts, and other entities.
  • Preparation of tax computations and advance tax workings.
  • Handling TDS compliances, reconciliations, and return filing.
  • Assistance in assessment proceedings, notices, and tax representations.
  • Research on direct tax issues and preparation of submissions.

 

Indirect Taxation (GST)

  • Preparation and filing of GST returns.
  • GST reconciliations and annual return support.
  • Assistance in GST audits and departmental notices.
  • GST registration, amendments, and advisory assignments.
  • Review of GST compliance and input tax credit reconciliations.

 

Audit & Assurance

  • Execution of Statutory Audits, Tax Audits, Internal Audits, and Concurrent Audits.
  • Preparation of audit programs, working papers, and audit documentation.
  • Verification and analysis of financial records and supporting documents.
  • Drafting audit observations and reports.
  • Client coordination for audit requirements and closure of audit queries.

 

Client Management

  • Regular interaction with clients for accounting, tax, and audit matters.
  • Managing multiple client assignments simultaneously.

Ensuring timely completion of as signments and statutory compliances.

Skills:

Educational Qualification

  • CA Inter (Both Groups or One Group Cleared) / Semi-Qualified CA
    OR
  • B.Com / M.Com with relevant CA firm experience.

Experience

  • 2–6 years of experience in a Chartered Accountant firm.
  • Exposure to accounting, taxation, and audit assignments is essential.
  • Experience in valuation and due diligence assignments will be an added advantage.
