Eligibility & Experience
Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant experience as an equity dealer/trader in a PMS or institutional wealth management setup.
Proven hands-on experience in executing high-value and high-volume equity trades.
Prior experience working with discretionary and non-discretionary PMS mandates.
Certifications & Qualifications
Mandatory: Relevant NISM Certification(s) as prescribed by SEBI for equity dealing/trading roles (e.g., NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives, or other applicable modules).
Key Skills & Competencies
Working knowledge of Wealth Spectrum or similar portfolio management and reporting software is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of equity markets, market microstructure, and execution strategies.
Proficiency in trading terminals and order management systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy under time-sensitive conditions.
Strong risk awareness and compliance orientation.
Ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
High ethical standards and integrity in handling client and proprietary trades.

Role Overview
The Equity Market Dealer will be responsible for executing equity and equity-related trades exclusively for clients under Portfolio Management Services (PMS). The role requires deep hands-on experience with trading terminals, strong execution capabilities, and strict adherence to regulatory and internal compliance frameworks. The dealer will work closely with the investment, research, and operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient trade execution aligned with approved investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Execute equity and other permitted market instruments for PMS clients in line with approved mandates and investment strategies.
Operate and manage trading terminals such as BSE Star MF, ODIN or equivalent institutional trading platforms.
Ensure best execution practices, including price discovery, liquidity assessment, and timely order placement.
Monitor markets during trading hours, track order status, manage modifications/cancellations, and resolve execution-related issues.
Coordinate with portfolio managers, fund managers, and research teams for trade instructions and strategy implementation.
Ensure strict compliance with SEBI regulations, exchange rules, internal dealing policies, and risk management guidelines.
Maintain accurate trade logs, order records, and post-trade confirmations.
Liaise with custodians, brokers, clearing members, and operations teams for smooth settlement and reconciliation.
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews by providing required trade and execution data.
Stay updated on market developments, trading regulations, and changes in exchange mechanisms.
