Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to deliver software solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
• Create detailed documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and user stories
• Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed solutions
Stakeholder Management
• Act as liaison between Engineering team and Project management team
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout project lifecycle
Process Improvement
• Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Document current state and future state process flows
• Recommend process optimizations and automation opportunities
• Support change management initiatives
Solution Design & Documentation
• Create wireframes, mockups, and process flow diagrams
• Develop use cases and user acceptance criteria
• Maintain requirements traceability matrices
• Document system configurations and business rules
Testing & Quality Assurance
• Develop test plans and test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Coordinate UAT activities with business users
• Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements
• Support defect resolution and issue tracking
Skills:
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Prior experience as a Business Analyst in software/technology environment
• Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Technical Skills (Good to have)
• Proficiency with requirements management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Confluence)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io)
• Familiarity with SQL and database concepts
• Understanding of API integration and web technologies
Core Competencies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
• Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO)
• Experience with specific domains (fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, etc.)
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
