Job brief

As the Assistant Manager - Procurement you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for all project-related materials, equipment, and services. Your role will be crucial in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the successful execution of our projects in the coworking industry.

Reporting to: Executive Director / Corporate Human Capital Head

Jobs and Responsibilities

  • Identify alternative / new products in the market, undertake cost -benefit analysis and present to the management.
  • Handle end to end procurement of the assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
  • Control Inventory by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Create Relationships with vendor by finding out their performance from market and undertake joint
  • Improvement projects with them.
  • Effective coordination with all sites. Regular site visits.
  • Creating strong networking within and outside the organization.
  • Continuous monitoring, review & taking timely corrective action to achieve the targets

 

Skills:

Qualification Requirements and skills

  • Bachelor Degree in commerce or similar field with Post Graduation of MBA.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience.
  • Expert in construction material Handle end to end procurement of the assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
  • Enhance value of the product / services and make annual rate contracts obtain alternate products / vendors or substituting the OEM's.
  • He should have Good negotiation skills / presentation skill for effective coordination with all sites.
  • Proficiency in Tamil and English Language
