Network
Support & Troubleshooting:
o
Diagnose
and resolve network issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and
WAN/LAN.
o
Provisioning of new services on the network.
o
Provide
Level 2 escalation support for network incidents and outages.
o
Analyse
network performance and optimize configurations.
o
Conduct
root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring network problems.

Network
Configuration & Maintenance:
o
Configure
and maintain network devices (Cisco, Arista, Juniper etc.).
o
Performing Upgrades e.g. OS patches,
vulnerability patches.
o
Implement
VLANs, QoS, ACLs, and other network policies.
o
Good
knowledge on L2 Technologies (STP, PVST, MSTP, RSTP, EtherChannel)
o
Basic level knowledge of Linux, Python/Bash scripting,
VMware

Monitoring
& Incident Management:
o
Monitor
network health using NMS tools.
o
Respond
to alerts, perform initial diagnosis, and escalate if required.
o
Work
on incident tickets (ITIL framework preferred).
o
Collaborate
with L1 support and senior network teams to ensure timely resolution.
· Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain detailed network diagrams and documentation.
o
Update
knowledge base with troubleshooting steps and solutions.
o
Prepare
reports on network performance, incidents, and capacity planning.
