Role Overview
The Executive – RERA Compliance is responsible for handling end?to?end Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) compliances for the Company’s real estate projects. The role ensures timely filings, updates, and disclosures on the RERA portal, coordination with internal teams and consultants, and support in lender and fund?raising?related compliance requirements linked to RERA.
Key Responsibilities
1. RERA Registrations & Ongoing Compliance
- Handle project registration, modification, and renewal under applicable State RERA laws.
- Prepare and submit quarterly, annual, and ongoing updates on the RERA portal (including project status, financials, and construction progress).
- Ensure timely compliance with RERA disclosure requirements and statutory timelines.
- Maintain complete project?wise RERA documentation and records.
2. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Coordinate with project, engineering, sales, finance, and legal teams for collection of RERA?related data and documents.
- Track project milestones and ensure alignment with RERA disclosures.
- Support internal reviews to ensure all public disclosures are accurate and up to date.
3. Support in Fund?Raising & Lender Compliance
- Assist in providing RERA?related documents and disclosures required by lenders, trustees, and financial institutions.
- Support compliance requirements linked to escrow accounts, fund utilization, and project?wise segregation.
- Coordinate RERA confirmations and declarations for financial due diligence and audits.
4. Documentation & Record Maintenance
- Maintain RERA certificates, approvals, correspondence, filings, and compliance trackers.
- Assist in preparation of reports, confirmations, and responses for auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Support inspections, audits, and queries raised by RERA authorities or consultants.
5. Regulatory Monitoring & Governance
- Track amendments, circulars, and notifications under RERA and related regulations.
- Assist seniors in interpreting regulatory requirements and implementing changes.
- Support strengthening of internal compliance systems and controls.
