Re-Insurance function 

1. Automation of Manual closing activities & RI payments 
2. Monthly closure of books of accounts 
3. To review & control over RI-Allocation (XOL premium, Facultative & XOL recovery) 
4. Terrorism pool / Nuclear pool & fair NAT CAT pool settlement, accounting & tracking of balances  
5. Monitoring of EEFC balances 
6. Year-end clean of treaties & portfolio impact 
7. Yearly closure of XOL premium, Minimum deposit premium & premium adjustment. 
8. Closure of re-insurance recoveries in books of account. 
9. Involvement in yearly re-insurance placement 
10. Tracking of re-insurance performance / results 
11. Preparation of treaties synopsis 
12. Re-insurance business relationship – Treaty & Facultative (Inward / outward) 
13. Strengthen Re-insurance recoveries 
14. Monitor / Control over re-insurance payment 
15. Re-insurance GST / TDS compliances include year-end GST input closure & TDS closure on provision basis 
16. Control over RI Receivable / Payable Balances 
17. Review of terms and condition of treaty & facultative  
18. Auditor queries resolution, variance analysis & balance confirmation. 
19. Control over regulatory reporting done by RI department  
20. Monitor of RI profitability 
21. Monitor re-insurance disallowances 
22. Monitor of re-insurance regulatory compliances. 
23. Tracking of RI-inward balances
