| We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Operations from the Valve Manufacturing industry to lead and manage the end-to-end operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, technical understanding of valve production processes, and the ability to manage shop-floor manpower efficiently. |
| Oversee daily operations across Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality Control, Planning, and Dispatch departments. |
| Ensure smooth coordination between all operational functions to achieve production targets. |
| Manage and lead shop-floor manpower including Fitters, Welders, CNC Operators, Assembly Technicians, Testing & Dispatch teams. |
| Monitor, track, and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. |
| Implement best practices for quality improvement, cost reduction, and workflow optimization. |
| Forecast and plan upcoming operational requirements, capacity enhancements, and process improvements. |
| Ensure adherence to safety standards, compliance, and operational SOPs. |
| Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, 5S, etc.). |
| Report operational performance to top management and drive corrective actions. |
| Strong experience specifically in Valve Manufacturing operations (mandatory). |
| Excellent manpower management and leadership skills. |
| Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities. |
| Ability to forecast operational needs and implement improvements. |
