High proficiency in Performance Test Scripting via LoadRunner for common protocols.
Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate with stakeholders and SMEs to elicit requirements, produce plans and reports, and work with SMEs to aid in the tuning and defect resolution process.
Strong leadership skills – ability to lead a team of performance test analysts and provide mentoring/coaching where required.
Strong performance analysis skills – ability to assess performance testing results and monitoring metrics to isolate performance bottlenecks and aid project SMEs in determining root cause analysis of performance issues.
Good proficiency in SQL and programming.
Interpret a Performance Test Plan to understand the required scope of performance testing.
Develop performance testing scripts using HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) to simulate transactions.
Analyze data requirements and develop a strategy for the provisioning of the required test data.
Develop load profiles and test scenarios as specified in the Performance Test Plan.
Implement monitoring solutions to monitor servers, databases, and other components in scope.
