• High proficiency in Performance Test Scripting via LoadRunner for common protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate with stakeholders and SMEs to elicit requirements, produce plans and reports, and work with SMEs to aid in the tuning and defect resolution process.
• Strong leadership skills – ability to lead a team of performance test analysts and provide mentoring/coaching where required.
• Strong performance analysis skills – ability to assess performance testing results and monitoring metrics to isolate performance bottlenecks and aid project SMEs in determining root cause analysis of performance issues.
• Good proficiency in SQL and programming.
• Interpret a Performance Test Plan to understand the required scope of performance testing.
• Develop performance testing scripts using HP Performance Center (LoadRunner) to simulate transactions.
• Analyze data requirements and develop a strategy for the provisioning of the required test data.
• Develop load profiles and test scenarios as specified in the Performance Test Plan.
• Implement monitoring solutions to monitor servers, databases, and other components in scope.
