Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Jira Service Management (JSM) Specialist with strong
hands-on expertise in Asset Management and Configuration Management. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing JSM solutions to
optimize IT service delivery, asset tracking, and configuration management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
? Asset Management:
Design and implement JSM Assets for eAective tracking of IT and non-IT
assets.
o Configure asset schemas, attributes, workflows, and lifecycle automation.
Maintain an accurate asset repository and ensure compliance with
governance policies.
? Configuration Management:
Set up and manage CMDB (Configuration Management Database) in JSM.
Define CI (Configuration Item) relationships and dependencies to enhance
visibility.
Ensure alignment with ITIL best practices for Configuration Management.
? Jira Administration & Customization:
Configure and manage Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, and
permissions.
Implement automation rules, scripts, and integrations with third-party tools.
Optimize JSM queues, request types, and SLAs for eAicient service
management.
? Integration & Automation:
Integrate JSM with other ITSM tools, cloud platforms, and asset discovery
solutions.
Leverage API, Automation Rules, and Scripting (e.g., Groovy, REST API,
PowerShell) for process automation.
? Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with IT, operations, and business teams to understand
requirements and improve ITSM workflows.
Provide training and best practice guidance on asset and configuration
management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in ITSM with strong hands-on expertise in Jira Service
Management (JSM).
Deep knowledge of Asset Management & Configuration Management best
practices.
Experience in designing and managing JSM Assets & CMDB.
Proficiency in Jira administration, workflows, automation, and scripting (Groovy,
REST API, JSON, or PowerShell).
Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for asset/configuration
management.
