Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager – Gold Loan to oversee and conduct audits of Gold Loan operations across branches. The candidate will be responsible for identifying operational and financial discrepancies, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct branch audits of Gold Loan operations across the company.

Verify pledged gold, loan documentation, KYC records and related registers/documents.

Review gold appraisal, valuation and loan sanctioning processes.

Verify valuation parameters, including valuation points and applicable LTV norms.

Identify financial, operational and compliance-related discrepancies and report findings.

Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs and internal audit procedures.

Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting observations, risks and exceptions.

Follow up with branch teams and management for corrective action and closure of audit observations.

Conduct surprise checks and verification of pledged gold, wherever required.

Analyse recurring audit observations and recommend process improvements.

Coordinate with business, operations and risk teams to strengthen internal controls.

Travel extensively to branches for conducting audits.
