Key
Responsibilities
- Raw material inspection:
Perform quality checks on casted materials to ensure compliance with
specifications as per standards.
- Machined material inspection:
Verify dimensional accuracy and surface finish after machining processes
as per drawings and specification.
- Coated material inspection:
Assess coating quality, thickness, and adherence to standards.
- Inline production quality
control: Monitor and inspect materials during CNC and other
production processes.
- Sample evaluation:
Conduct QC on samples from new materials, vendors, and dies before
approval.
- Accessory inspection:
Check seals, teeth rings, and spare parts for quality compliance.
- Floor supervision: Oversee
production activities in the absence of the floor in-charge.
- Production involvement:
Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and
adherence to quality standards.
- Vendor coordination:
Follow up with vendors regarding material quality, delivery timelines, and
corrective actions.
- Daily reporting: Prepare
and maintain reports on:
- Raw casting inspections
- Machined material inspections
- Coated material inspections
- Accessories QC
- Inline CNC production QC
- Rejection analysis reports
- Production sample reports
- PDIR (Pre-Dispatch Inspection
Reports)
- Valve and fitting testing:
Participate in testing ball valves, butterfly valves, and fittings with
the team to ensure performance and durability.

- Familiarity with casting,
machining, coating, and CNC processes
- Ability to prepare and analyze quality
documentation and reports

- Hands-on experience in valve
and fitting testing, pipes as per standards.
- Problem-solving mindset with
focus on continuous improvement
Additional Requirements:
- Senior-most QC professional capable of independently handling quality functions.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Mechanical Manufacturing industry.
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- NDT Level Certification preferred.
- Six Sigma certification/knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge and application of Total Quality Management (TQM).
- Hands-on experience in ISO documentation and compliance activities.
- Experience in TUV and Third-Party Inspection coordination.
- Vendor inspection and vendor quality assessment experience.
- Completion of relevant online quality courses will be an added advantage.
- Ability to lead, guide, and handle the QC team effectively.
