Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Revit) to create detailed HVAC system drawings and schematics for construction documents.
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into building designs and layouts.
Perform energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system performance and efficiency while minimizing energy consumption and operating costs.
Select and specify HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handling units, pumps, and controls, based on project requirements and performance criteria.
Review and evaluate contractor submittals and shop drawings to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) and conducting site visits as needed.
Conduct field surveys and assessments to gather data and information necessary for HVAC system design and implementation.
Stay current with advancements in HVAC technology, trends, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and deliver innovative solutions.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules related to HVAC design and engineering services.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience (3 years) in HVAC system design and engineering, preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Familiarity with HVAC design tools is a plus.
