Z-1426 | Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller you would be reporting to Founding team and assist them as Finance Advisory towards Business growth, maintaining Financial health and assist in Fund raise.

• Managing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Cost Control with Cost Saving Initiatives.
• Responsible for all Audits (Statutory, Internal, Tax)
• Repowering on viability of Projects
• Additional controller duties as necessary
• Financial Planning & Strategic Growth design of the company.
• Be Involved in managing MIS, investor due diligence.
• 5+ Yrs of relevant working experience as a Financial Controller/ Business finance role in a financial services/Fintech company.
• Good Understanding of financial services and technology Business principles & growth metrics.
• In dept knowledge of Taxation laws, Company Act, Finance management, Accounting and finance
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures & compliance
• Experience with creating financial statements / MIS.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Prior experience in working with both startups and established organisation
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have experience building Finance teams
