Profile and Responsibilities
• Prepare, and place purchase orders for raw materials and laboratory consumables
Review purchase orders to ensure product cost, payment terms, product information,
and delivery information are accurate
• Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for order finalisation and Import
raw materials through ocean freight
• Coordinate with sales and production teams to place orders as per weekly and
monthly raw material planning
• Follow up with raw material suppliers on regular basis to ensure shipment and
delivery on promised dates
• Maintain physical and digital records of purchases and related documentation
Record price movements of key raw materials on monthly basis
• Update supplier register on monthly to track raw material purchases
Skills:
Candidate Profile
• Prior experience as a Procurement Executive in Chemicals/Pharma industry
• Graduate degree in Engineering/Science/Commerce
• Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures including imports
• Ability to grasp technical specifications of chemicals and consumables
• Proficient in MS Office Programs, in particular Excel
• Good time management and organisation skills
