Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, payables, receivables, and payroll.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual books of accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements in line with Ind-AS and company policies.
• Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits with external auditors.
Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances.
• Manage assessments and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Stay updated with regulatory changes impacting the manufacturing sector.
Costing & Inventory Control
• Monitor cost of production, material consumption, wastage, and overheads.
• Implement standard costing and variance analysis for process improvement.
• Oversee periodic inventory reconciliation and valuation (RM, WIP, FG).
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
• Manage cash flow planning, vendor payments, and receivables to optimize working capital.
• Coordinate with banks .
MIS & Strategic Inputs
• Develop and deliver monthly MIS reports for management review.
• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Provide financial insights to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
• Lead, mentor, and upskill the accounting team.
• Strengthen internal controls and implement ERP-based accounting discipline.
• Drive digitalization and automation of accounting processes.
